GEMS School was established in 1984 in Sanepa, Lalitpur with 78 students and 25 staff members. Initially, classes from Nursery to grade III were offered. Today, it has become a full-fledged higher secondary school running classes from grade one to twelve. For its continuous improvement, we listen and respond to parents’ concerns and needs of a changing society. Our child-centred approach to teaching and learning at the primary level has become successful in terms of the overall development of the children.
We have infrastructure of an international standard supported by state-of-the-art facilities, and a team of professionals to nurture the creative minds of students. We reiterate our commitment to provide a nurturing environment and every facility possible to ensure a high quality education every student deserves in today’s globalized world.
At GEMS, we provide students with a stimulating learning environment, in which they explore their full potential and develop a strong academic foundation for higher studies. A child-centred teaching approach has been adopted in the primary level that has considerably helped children in their intellectual, emotional and social development. Plans are afoot to gradually implement the same in higher grades in the years ahead. A training programme for the teachers has already been started for the effective implementation of this approach in the future.
