General Regulations
Classes begin at 6:45 a.m. and ends by 1:30 p.m. Generally, classes are held Sunday through Friday. However, extra classes are occasionally arranged on Saturday, and other public holidays depending upon the needs of students.
Attendance
Roll-call is taken every day in every period to ensure the students' attendance in the class. Absence in the class is discouraged. However, the academic head/ administrator should be informed in writing in case a student cannot attend classes due to unavoidable circumstances. In addition to the required percentage in the send-up examination, at least 95 percent attendance is required for students to qualify for the board examination.
Dicipline
Discipline is strictly enforced, as we believe that it is the key to success. Students are regularly counseled, monitored and individually cared for. To bring this about, a high standard of behavior and consideration towards others are expected in and out of the classroom. Effective delivery of education is only possible when students feel personally secure and confident that learning is enjoyable, purposeful and valuable. Students are expected to behave sensibly, courteously and with a sense of concern and respect for others.
Withdrawal
Mid-session withdrawal is discouraged. However, if it becomes absolutely imperative for a student to withdraw his/her name from the college, a written application must be submitted to the office at least 45 days in advance or else extra one month's tuition fee will be realized from the student before issuing Transfer Certificate or any other documents.
Expulsion
A student may be expelled if his/her bills are not cleared for two months or for repeated misbehavior. Though normally two warnings are given before expulsion, a student may be expelled even without a notice if the offence is extremely grievous and detrimental to the harmonious development of the school.
Dress Code and Attire
Dress code is compulsory for students and they must wear the prescribed college uniform which consists of a white shirt, tie and blue pant, and wearing a coat and a sweater during winter is a must for all students. Students coming in casual or improper uniforms are not allowed to attend classes.
Transportation
The College bus facility is available to all those students who require transportation. Students are not permitted to enter the college premises on a two wheeler i.e. motorbike, scooter, etc. This rule is enforced for the safety of the students themselves.
Suggestions and Complaints
Verbal complaints are not entertained. Parents/ students are requested not to get into discussions with any member of staff but to put down their complaints or suggestions in writing and drop the same in a sealed envelope at the office. The management will look into the parents'/ students' grievances sympathetically at the earliest convenience, and take immediate steps to address the complaints or suggestions.
Working Hours
Office working hours are from Sunday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. However, parents are requested to make an appointment with the concerned officials before they come to see them.
Any subject not covered in this prospectus will be dealt with by the Director in consultation with the management.
