Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are yet another attractive feature of this school. These facilities are provided to students from grade I to X. The hostel department is divided into different distinct wings in accordance with their age and class. Senior girls, intermediate girls, junior girls, senior boys, intermediate boys and junior boys are housed in separate buildings, which are also conveniently located, and provided with all amenities for comfortable living.
This system has been adopted to meet the physical and psychological needs of children of different age groups. Each wing of the hostel is managed by a qualified hostel in-charge and he/ she is, in turn, assisted by more than a dozen highly trained, dedicated and efficient menial employees, who work round the clock, and ensure the safety and comfort of the children in their charge. Presently, boarders from classes I to III are housed at rented buildings at Sanepa, while classes IV and above are accommodated at boarding houses at Dhapakhel. The management is planning to open a separate residential school for boarders in the future within the radius of ten to fifteen kilometers of the present location.

Dormitory
The dormitories are unique and worth-inspecting. The children are provided with individual beds. Separate dormitories, dressing rooms, individual lockers, etc., and bathrooms are available for boys and girls separately. Ayahs sleep in  dormitories to carry out duties such as bathing the children, helping children to get dressed, accompanying smaller ones to the toilet, arranging beds and comforting them, who get frightened at night. Except for those on duty, dormitories are strictly out of bounds for all other members of the staff. Students from grade I to V are cared for by Ayahs but students of grade six and above are encouraged to be responsible for their belongings in order to make them independent.

Health Care
Students with minor ailments and injuries are treated in the School Infirmary by qualified staff nurses. Qualified and registered child specialists visit the School Infirmary at least once a week. In case of serious illness or injuries, they are admitted to the nearest hospital, and parents are informed immediately. Payment for all kinds of treatments attended outside the School Infirmary will have to be made by parents themselves. The school will not be held responsible for injuries caused while playing. Parents are advised to have a medical insurance for their children or the school may arrange such insurance, and charge the amount in a monthly bill.

HOSTEL ACTIVITIES
Children are provided with regular entertainment at school and outside as well. Boarders are taken out on excursions, trekking, camping, and they also visit different places of interest such as the zoo, museum, Saurah - Chitawan, Lumbini, Namobuddha, etc. to name a few. On Saturdays, feature films are shown at the different halls of different dormitories, and various indoor activities like quizzes, debates, talent shows, and various other recreational programmes and competitions are conducted in the evening to fully realize the potential of students, and each student is given an equal opportunity.

MEAL
Fresh and hot food is prepared under the guidance of the mess manager, and served to the children under the strict supervision of the hostel manager, hostel wing in-charges, matrons and teachers on duty. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are served. Four meals (breakfast/ lunch/ tea and snacks/ dinner) are served every day. The staff on duty assist the children in the proper use of napkins, spoons, forks and knives, and also teach table manners.
